When my boyfriend and I moved in with each other a year and a half ago, we crammed both of our lives in our 720SF house. Needless to say, we both had (and still have) a lot of things. Over the past several weeks I have been making an effort to downsize and declutter all of my stuff. I donated 40% of my wardrobe, I got rid of a bunch of blankets and bedding, and I sold a few things on Craigslist.
The largest culprit of clutter in our house are books. I am a tremendous book collector but yet most of my books have gone unread. That is why I am making an effort to read all the books! My goal is to read everything that I currently own and once I’m done I will either gift books to friends or donate them to the library. I hope that by removing my clutter, we can better organize my boyfriend’s stuff.
I was able to make a handy list of all the books included in Operation: Read all the books on Goodreads. If you’re not a Goodreads user yet, I highly recommend it! It’s a great way to connect with other bibliophiles and to get recommendations based on the books you love. You can follow me, my username is eschroe.
